Originally from New York City, I began my career in the business world after attending the Wharton Business School of the University of Pennsylvania. Unfulfilled in a business career, I embarked on a journey of self-discovery, culminating in a second career in osteopathic medicine.
After completing my premed course work at the Claremont Colleges in California, I attended medical school at the Western University of Health Sciences College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific.
While in medical school I was awarded a teaching fellowship to study advanced osteopathic treatment and to teach undergraduate students to diagnose and treat patients.
My private practice as a traditional osteopath began in 1995 and continues today. Functional medicine is an integral component of my practice and of my own healing process.
In my leisure time I enjoy, hiking, kayaking, snorkeling and gardening.
